entry 025 | fall 2025 bucket list: productivity edition ☕🍂

Updated: Dec 11, 2025

something about fall just makes me want to reset. maybe it’s the cooler air, maybe it’s the smell of cinnamon candles and pumpkin spice, or maybe it’s the fact that autumn feels like nature’s reminder that change can be beautiful. either way, fall always feels like the real new year for me.

this season, i’m aiming for a version of productivity that’s less about hustle and more about harmony. i still want to check off my to-dos, but i also want to slow down enough to enjoy the process. so here’s my fall 2025 bucket list: the productivity edition 🍁

☕ 1. romanticize my morning routine

no more doom scrolling. this fall, i want to start my mornings slower with journaling, stretching, and gratitude before opening my laptop. i want to create mornings that make me look forward to working instead of just rushing into it.

📚 2. re-organize my digital life

my google drive is screaming. so is my notion dashboard. fall cleaning isn’t just for closets; it’s also for decluttering your digital world. i’m planning to spend a cozy saturday backing up files, color-coding folders, and finally unsubscribing from all those “we miss you!” newsletters.

🍂 3. read one book just for fun

not for class. not for self-improvement. just because i want to. i’ve noticed that reading for fun actually recharges my creativity, like pressing refresh on my brain.

💻 4. re-design my study space

small change, big energy shift. whether it’s swapping my desk decor, printing a new moodboard, or adding fairy lights, i want my workspace to feel warm and inspiring. because let’s be honest, a cute setup makes everything 10 times more productive.

🧠 5. build a “focus playlist”

you know that feeling when a certain playlist makes you feel unstoppable? i want that. i’m curating my own fall study soundtrack that lets me lock in and be in my academic era.

🍵 6. practice mindful productivity

this one’s big. instead of multitasking all the time, i want to focus on doing one thing well. working in deep focus blocks, taking screen breaks, and actually celebrating when i finish something, even the small wins.

🗓️ 7. create a sunday reset ritual

fall sundays are meant for cozy productivity. laundry, grocery runs, skincare, reflection. i want to make it a ritual by resetting my space, setting intentions for the week, and maybe baking/getting something pumpkin-flavored because that’s practically mandatory.

📝 8. start a “fall reflections” journal

every week, i want to write a short note to myself about what worked, what didn’t, and one thing i’m proud of. think of it as a seasonal progress log. simply just accountability, no pressure.

so, in conclusion, this fall, i’m redefining productivity as something that feels peaceful, not pressured. it’s not about doing everything; it’s about doing the right things with intention. so if you’re reading this, maybe make your own cozy bucket list too, one that leaves space for both progress and pause.

here’s to a season of focus, warmth, and finding balance 🍁

sincerely,

studybutterfly 🦋
