entry 026 / twenty twenty six: a year for grace and growth 🌸💫

i think it’s cute that my first blog entry of 2026 is entry 026. kind of like the universe giving me a little wink and saying we’re off to a good start.

this year, i want to talk about trying again and again, sticking to your goals, and giving yourself a break when things get messy. life does not always go in a straight line. some days it feels like you are winning at everything and other days it feels like you can barely keep up. that is normal and okay. it all counts, even the parts that feel small or invisible.

everyone is initially motivated at the beginning of every new year. new habits, new routines, a promise to yourself that this will be the year you FINALLY achieve all your goals. but you're only chasing that high for so long before you run back into your old routines, break it off after a week of consistency, and then end up telling yourself that you'll try again next year because you've "ruined" this one about fifteen days in.

and so that's why i'm here to tell you: give yourself grace. celebrate the tiny wins, even if it is just getting out of bed on a rough morning or finally finishing that task you have been avoiding. mistakes do not erase your progress. falling behind does not mean failure. it just means you are human and humans are meant to grow and learn as they go. and honestly, that is kind of beautiful.

stick to your goals, yes, but let them guide you without turning into pressure. take a breather when you need it. forgive yourself when things go wrong. keep going even if it is one tiny step at a time. growth is not linear and some of the best lessons come in moments you did not expect.

i have noticed that when you are kind to yourself it makes it easier to notice kindness in others. people are quietly showing up, working hard behind the scenes, keeping promises to themselves that nobody else sees. it is a good reminder that everyone is figuring things out, and that a small gesture - a smile, a compliment, a little patience - can mean so much.

trying again does not mean ignoring setbacks. it means noticing them, learning from them, and still moving forward without guilt or frustration. give yourself credit for continuing even when it is slow or messy. the person you are today is not the person you were yesterday and that is something worth celebrating. growth does not have a deadline. progress does not need to be dramatic.

this year i want to focus less on perfection and more on consistency. less on checking boxes and more on noticing small wins. less on comparing myself to others and more on honoring my own pace. you do not have to be perfect to be enough. you do not have to finish every goal to matter. you do not have to have everything figured out to be moving forward.

entry 026 is a little reminder. to keep trying. to keep showing up. to stick with your goals but not get mad at yourself when you stumble. to notice progress even if it is quiet. to lift others along the way because everyone is quietly trying again and again. and hey, if you trip along the way, maybe laugh a little and try again, it makes the journey more fun.

here is to 2026. a year to try without fear, to move forward without guilt, and to give ourselves grace every step of the way. here is to falling, getting back up, and showing up for ourselves and each other over and over again. and maybe along the way, we can sprinkle in some joy, some laughter, and a little bit of magic too. 🌿✨

entry 027 / my ins and outs for 2026 🌷🌞

i feel like every year there’s this unspoken expectation that january 1st is supposed to flip some switch. suddenly you’re more disciplined, more productive, more confident, and everything feels clear
