entry 014 | sixteen lessons 💐

hellloooo cuties!!

guess who's finally seventeen?! 🙈

i figured that since it's my birthday, the perfect blogpost would be to write about lessons i've learnt throughout my life up until now! mostly recent though because i genuinely can't remember stuff from when i was three 🙌

1. rely on yourself. being strong on your own is key to building healthy relationships with others in the future.

2. work hard, play hard. put a 100% into everything you do.

3. keep an open mind. sometimes the biggest blessings that you are looking for are right in front of your eyes.

4. set smart goals. set goals that are small, measuarable, attainable, relevant, and time-bound. don't set unrealistic expectations!

5. be the energy you're looking for. kind of like the golden rule! treat others the way you want to be treated, but also like if you want friends who have big ambitions, make sure you have big ambitions.

6. authenticity is key. be yourself. you want those who love your truest self.

7. be bored! sometimes you just need a break, so take that time off to do nothing.

8. no regrets. once you do something, you're done. you can't change it so don't regret it!

9. surround yourself w/ people you love. the people who are around you build you, so surrounding yourself with love sustains you with love.

10. be spontaneous. not everything has to be a set plan, sometimes you can just go out!!

11. make mistakes. can't grow without knowing where you need to grow!

12. have hobbies. hobbies let you find out who you really are, it helps you find your passion, your spark!

13. don't worry so much. worrying and overthinking does nothing!!

14. just do it. don't wait for that "perfect" time for something, just do it now!

15. ^^ do it NOW. emphasis on NOW.

16. don't overstress!!! again, you can't change it so don't stress out!
