entry 003 | my spring semester academic goals

hellloooo!!! today i wanted to talk more about my academic goals that i mentioned in my video last saturday called “grwm for spring semester!” if you havent already watched it, go watch now! here’s the link ➡

nowww lets get into my academic goals for this spring semester...

1.) MAINTAIN ALL A’S 💯

the reason i want to get straight A’s is so that i can improve my GPA, and also because it gives me more dopamine to actually be studious like rory gilmore & paris geller :) they are literally my role models and inspirations, and in my opinion, paris is the best character in the show!!

2.) READ MORE CLASSICS AND NON FICTION 📔

reading more classics has always been a goal of mine because classic literature seems really interesting ngl! some literature really bores me, but others seem really interesting. like how to kill a mocking bird was one of the most boring books ive had to read, but on the other hand, little women is one of my all time favorites.

3.) COLLABORATE WITH MY PEERS MORE! 🤝

the reason i want to work together and collaborate with my peers more is because everyone has some kind of new insight to bring to the table. rather than being an individual, working together with others gives me more knowledge. when i work on things all by myself, im limited to my own knowledge, and i dont want to constrain myself to my own boundaries. this also helps me work on and build my own communication skills as well!

4.) TAKING BETTER NOTES 📝

i want to focus on bettering my understanding of my notes. my notes are real cute and aesthetic and i love them, but i dont think im using my notes to the best of my ability. rather than just taking my notes for the sake of taking notes, i want to build a better understanding of my notes. i want to process them, and be able to generate questions to ask my teachers through my notes.

i really want to make sure im tracking my progress on these goals and that im performing the absolute best i can for this upcoming spring semester! see u guys next wednesday :)
