helllloooo lovelies <3
HAPPY NEW YEAR!! in today’s blogpost, i was so so hesitant on what i should write about, because i really wanted to start this year off with a bang! i thought the new year resolutions idea was cute, but it felt overused, and so i decided to talk about my TBR. (TO BE READ!)
my goal for 2024 is to read 365 books! I read 237 in 2023, and 152 in 2022, so i think i’m pretty ready for this challenge :)
a lot of the books i want to read fall into different genres so i’ve made some categories to sort out my TBR!
self-help - i want to read more of these books because they seem to really show me a new perspective on how i can build my habits, happiness, productivity, etc.
how to win friends and influence people | dale carnegie
breaking the habit of being yourself | joe dispenza
the secret | rhona byrnes
the power of now | eckhart tolle
rich dad poor dad | robert kiyosaki
mystery - mystery books have been my go-to since i started reading, they’re like my comfort books, it’s hard to explain, but it feels like im a detective, just by reading.
the silent patient | alex michaelides
the truth about keeping secrets | savannah brown
house of hollow | krystal sutherland
truly devious | maureen johnson
this is not the jess show | anna carey
fantasy - i absoutely love fantasy books because the world building is so so fun to witness and fully imagine in your own head, going through the story as if you’re right there!
fourth wing | rebecca yarros
mistborn | brandon sanderson
heart of the raven prince | tessonja oddette
clockwork prince | cassandra clare
of blood and fire | ryan cahill
romance - i don't usually read books with only romance plots, but i found a couple that i wanted to try reading, because they have different takes on stories :)
one last stop | casey mcquinston
last night at the telegraph club | malinda lo
lavender house | lev ac rosen
the fine print | lauren asher
archer’s voice | mia sheridan
now i do have more, but i’m most probably going to create a video for the rest of my tbr! these are just a few books of my TBR, and of course, it’s a never-ending & ever-growing list. fyi, some of these books are parts of trilogies, so if you do look into these, make sure you read them in order! if you have read any of these, or do read them, please please please reach out to me and let me know your thoughts!
love you guys, and thanks for readinggg!!
